So, the SRI and inlet are worth it. Corksport has one that includes the inlet for much less than the Cobb SRI and inlet combined. Is there a difference in quality? Is the airbox worth it for the Corksport?

Sounds like CPE (catted) is the way to go. Thanks. I plan on keeping the stock mufflers and turbo so I imagine its not worth getting an aftermarket manifold then. It seems like the turbo inlet and SRI's don't really add that much power either (besides cool noises).

Thanks tbot. Why is the CPE better than the ATP? Do you know what issues the divorced DP's have caused?

Which Downpipe for MS6?

Is the "divorced" downpipe design from Corksport really a better design? Also, Protegegarage has a good deal on two Corsksport downpipes and a manifold. Will the manifold produce any extra power if I don't put a full CB exhaust (ie, limit my mods to just the manifold, downpipe, testpipe and a pro-tu...

I had the same problem with a stock stage 1 map. Cobb sent me a v103A map that supposedly compensates for this problem but it is only a bit better than the stage 1. If you keep on the gas above 5K you'll still hit boost cut.

Here's another datalog where I think the problem might be a little more apparent.

Thanks guys. Did any times stand out as obviously way out of whack? I get this violent deceleration when my "problem" happens. Its like somebody slams on the brakes even though my foot is still on the accelerator. Why would their OTS map perform so badly? I do have a K&N, could that cause this?

Made it shorter and it should now have the heading across the top row.

Data log w/ problem from AP OTS Stage 1 93

Here's the shortest of the 3 datalogs I have. I deleted several seconds of low RPM time. Can anybody identify anything abnormal here? When I accelerate hard, as the engine gets up to around the upper 5000 range (sometimes in the upper 4000 range too) it all of the sudden decelerates violently (like ...

@ OCD, yep the AP reads "Engine Overboost" but it also gives the code which I can't remember right now - I'll get to a PC sometime this weekend and post it along with the datalog results. From what I've read, our DISI engines have more variation among them than other cars - that's probably why I can...

Thanks for the help guys. I'm running the 91 Stage 1. The only non-stock item I have is a K&N in the stock air box. The AP's really nice when it works, a definite improvement over stock. The code I get is "Engine Oveboost." The highest boost I've seen is about 17 but only momentarily. I'll upload th...
