Eric does most his tuning on his pfc and had dave otherwise known on here as chickenwafer help him out with it. You can find their posts especially chickenwafer on some of the very basics of the tuning. As for me I got a Microtech and I am hating it till I can afford an upgrade.

I switched to ebc yellows after hearing good things from speedjunkie and I have to say that they are a mean little brake pad. I have to say that there is no fade at all when running hard on them once you have them broken in.

a couple of us here have microtech and just tune it ourselves, I am one of them and hate the system going to switch to megasquirt ms3 pro when i can afford. I've gotten mine close to where I want it and might be able to help you get yours further as long as you got a wideband.

U should have no trouble as long as you run the right tires and throw a little weight in the back. Main reason I don't drive in the winter with mine is no point since I have two other vehicles that can do better and I drive to pueblo from the springs pretty much ever day.
