Great write-up! I've always had a desire for a S2000 (have a Honda Prelude I really enjoy) but really wish the hardtop was cheaper/easier to find. I think an interesting car to add to the comparison would be the Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S twins.

Took a little trip up Guanella Pass a few days ago, great road as long as it isn't busy.
