success! it's all done. wow, to all of you that have speeds making much more power and then you guys want more, I completely understand now. I only have a few bolt-ons and guessing I gained minimal amounts of power, but the car feels so much better and revs-up faster than it used to. or maybe it's b...

If the VVT wasn't getting any pressure you would get a CEL just driving, as the ECU is desiring and calling a certain advance on the cam, and if the cam timing sensor says it's not advancing..CEL. how sure are you the noise you are hearing is the VVT? where is it coming from, does it do it at idle?...

Here's where I'm at, since I don't really have anything to base it off, I'm trying to make the car a little more quiet on the inside, if I remember the road noise and the wind noise was kind of high. eventually I'll get to the interior, but since I had the engine out I cleaned the firewall really we...

Thanks! D walker, It would've been nice to be able to drive down and buy it from you, unfortunately I didn't have time to drive down there. Since I had to take a friend to the airport, and since I drive down 104th all the way to tower, I stopped by at Peterson fluid systems by Havana and 104th. I fo...

I figured it out, it's a 5/16 x 3/4 long key. it was a long day yesterday and when I was working on it I just couldn't even think about it. after a good dinner last night and hanging out with the kids to unwind I went down and measured it, managed to make it to the store in time before closing time....

23 mm
the socket is technically 23mm every time I've done it I use the 24mm 12 point wrench and it works just fine, it's not suppose to be tight, I think the torque is like 23ft lbs. for the drain the wrench works just fine too, you just have to angle it a bit. hopefully this helps. I use the 24mm because...

exedy flywheel
On the oem flywheel you have 6 bolts holding the clutch to the flywheel and three little guide pins. The new flywheel doesn't have them. What size are they and where do you get them? Or do you just pry the old ones out and transfer them? I tried for a little with some vice grips but didn't want to d...

Nice. I sold my MZ3 hatch at a considerable loss because it developed a rod knock and estimates to replace were ridiculous. I couldn't find a place to even get the engine out to do the work myself. How did you get the car up high enough to pull the engine out the bottom? Repair quote's were crazy w...
