I may sell mine. Body is not pretty, interior is nice and now it runs great! A/C is cold and have a newer top. I don't want to get rid of it (was going to turbo it and make it a track car), but the wife wants a convertible we can take the kids in. Now I am looking at a Jeep. PM me if you are interes...

Update: I scored a used (new to me!) soft top with full frame in nice shape for $100 tonight. Woo-hoo! I replaced the damaged left fender with a white and slightly less damaged one this weekend. Now I need to mount the new top, detail the interior and debate about repainting the car. I figure that s...

Yes, I'll do that when I'm in there- thanks for the tip! My valve cover is leaking badly- that will happen at that time too! My buddy is coming up to visit next month from AZ and he has done this before on his 92. He says it is an easy job... we'll see!

Thanks guys. Erod- I am looking at a new roof from flea-bay for about $200. I just need something to keep the sun off of my head at times. On bad wx days- the car will stay in the garage. I plan on installing the roof myself. I am also going to do the timing belt since the most recent owner of the p...

Buffer to borrow?

Does anyone have a buffer/polisher (Porter cable or similar) that I could borrow for a couple of days? I need to see if I can resurrect the paint on the Miata. I'll supply my own bonnets/pads...

Thanks! :)

Yeah, I just saw that. It's a bit out of my budget for a toy- although it looks like a great ride!

Hi all- I am back after a couple of years hiatus from owning a Mazda (although I still lurk here frequently!). I just picked up a little Miata this past weekend- she was very cheap but needs some love. Stats: 91 "A" Package Faded white torn roof/ window 175k new clutch- yay!! newer tires hail damage...

Avoid the YK520s if you can. I had them on my Odyssey- very hard rubber compound (that 60k rating means something)- crappy on ice and snow- loud after ~10k. YMMV.

I miss my old 86 CR-X... that was a cool and fun car... glad it is on the list. The Corolla GT-S was a neat RWD ride from Toyota back in the day.

Go to a Ford dealer and ask them for a rear wiper blade for a first gen Focus hatch. That's what I did for my prev 3 hatch. Exact same size and worked great!

Possibly the rear diff gear oil since it is a limited slip... Has it ever been changed? I changed mine at around 32k and it was nasty. The driveline felt much smoother (esp hard launches) after the change to redline. It's an easy job to do...

Yeah Im hoping to get my window tint done this week and then the next thing is winter wheels/tires. Do you know if 16" wheels will fit over the MS3 brakes? Also do you have to run the TPMS on the wheels or can you just not put them on? I also just found out I possibly have to make a drive to Arizon...
