body shop recommendation

There is an excellent body shop that used to be called Clyde's autobody that is at approx. 60th and Harlan. I have had a few repairs done by them and they are as good or better than factory new. Their name has changed, but my father who had some work done recently, said they are still the same compa...

I give up.

:huh:It's been almost six weeks since your post and my request. It must not be too important. Or am I persona non grata?

Still for sale?

Dommo, we haven't heard back from you in a while regarding the sale of your mazdaspeed mats. Please tell us your price and availability so that they may go to the party that desires them the most. Thank you. Darby

Long term Update?

Andrew, I was hoping that you may have had a long term update for the pads and rotors. I have read that the 4000 series rotors sometimes develop cracking and warping and was hoping that yours have worked well in the long term. I jumped the gun previously, thinking that my brakes would need to be don...

Floor Mats

Dommo, I, too, would be interested in the floor mats. I left my drivers side mat at the car wash and by the time I got back it was gone. A new set of Mazdaspeed mats, maybe it was just the drivers side(not sure), was around $90. If they are the same as the 2008.5 models that I need, I would rather p...

No problem man, thats one of the reasons we no longer work on street cars except for a few select customers. Pretty much anyone who has had anything bad to say about us, owes us money, and usually a lot of it, and I know who all five of them are. I will also admit that in the past we have had some ...

Sorry, Don. I did some research on you and your companies and have decided not to let you or your employees work on my car. I have known some shady mechanics/shop owners in the past, and the reviews [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTBxRtR26W0"]Worse Shop Ever! HRD aka Don Walker CA18det 2 - You...

Thanks, Pat.

Pat, Thank you for your offer. I honestly would prefer to do this myself, just for the hands-on satisfaction and experience, as well as confidence in a job done right, but for the lack of a lift and time-a-fleeting, your offer might be too good to pass up. The question is, how soon can you do this? ...

I read about the vibration on some other Mazda Forums perhaps even in the comments from customers on Barone's website. I have not experienced one personally; and, as you were informed, many of this type of mount soften up after a short "break-in" period (according to reviews from other websites).

I just got the rear motor mount. I don't lauch from a dead stop if at all possible. I'm not into 1/4 mile times, (can't afford the tires) just wanted to reduce the misalignment of the shifting when motor is twisted from high torque. I looked into that JBarone mount too, but decided there would be to...

I bought the bushings and rear motormount from Sure Motorsports. The bushings are a relatively non-compliant urethane, stiffer than most rubbers but softer than many hard urethanes or plastics. The rear motor mount has a relatively soft urethane but so much of it that it should stiffen the mount con...

Looking for rental bay/lift

I need to replace my rear shocks, front and rear stabilizer bushings and end links, as well as my rear motor mount. I may be dreaming:741ccad5:, but I think I could get all this done in three-or-so hours with a lift. It would be a miserable all day-plus affair on ramps. Any one care to set me straig...
