They're the best mods to resolve sloppy shifter feel. It worked on my Speed3, I don't know about an N/A car, though Lyssa can tell you about her experiences with that. Thanks for the clarification. I have the Mazdaspeed shifter at home (upcoming christmas gift), but not sure I really know what slop...

The rear engine mount would be nice...alas no more dinero. I didn't even consider it until I read a thread where I believe Erod said that a rear motor mount and short shifter were the best mods on a N/A car...sorry if I am misrepresenting on that.

I ended up doing a RB intake, OBX headers, Magnaflow cat, Pulstar Plugs.... and advanced the timing to about 14 degrees. Wow. It runs so much better than when I bought it. Waaaay better. You did all of that for 200.00? I need to shop more/better:o But, having seen this, I might need to go by Don's ...

Hell, i could meet tonight, but i have a chiro appt at 5:30 in Castle Rock, so seems rather pointless. School will be in session by the 1st, so that will work out nicely to grab some food on my way home from class.
