Re: The Miata

This was such a great car and I had lots of fun in it, but it was time to move on. Not sure what I would get to replace. Not much out there excites me lately...

Re: Build thread

Wait what!? You finally made it out to the track? I had to double take and make sure I was reading the right thread :p. Congrats on making it out!

Yea no ABS means more braking technique. Gotta practice that modulation of the pedal to keep from locking up.

Re: Worth $1000?

I may keep it a little longer than intended. When I visit the junkyard, I may try and find some of those rusty brackets and replace them. Or I could just pull them off and paint them. I'm getting tires put on it right now. It really is a pleasant driving little vehicle. It's no exaggeration that it...

Re: Worth $1000?

The motor needs that shadow detail touch but otherwise looks good. Yea previous owner got it w/o Vaseline on the T-belt job.

Re: Saul's 1998 Integra GSR coupe

Out of curiosity, why did you go with Hardrace for the bushings? And which ones did you get? I wanted rubber bushings but the OEM ones were too much. Hardrace offers stiffer rubber bushings for $300.00 which are a bit better than stock but still keep within my intent on this project/build. Hardrace...

Re: Saul's 1998 Integra GSR coupe

Had a couple things come into today. These dumb bushings were on backorder since November!! Glad they're here now. Just need to set up a time at Cornerspeed Tuning to get them put in. http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff492/Saul_Good3/CARS/710854B9-7B7A-48E8-B05D-A0C60E90522D.jpg Was only looking ...

Re: Saul's 1998 Integra GSR coupe

Copy that. Swapped all the fluids (brakes/clutch) and regreased all sliding pins on my calipers. My Hardrace rubber bushings are FINALLY in stock and scheduled to be dropped off this Monday. Once those are in I'll start to look at autoxing it or some sort of open track. Aside from the aesthetics, I ...

Re: Saul's 1998 Integra GSR coupe

So I dunno if I should be upset or impressed. Basically between May 2016 and the time I bought my car the odo went from 203k miles to 152k. The car runs great and I recently had a valve adjustment. My mech buddy told me everything on the topend looked good, and when he replaced my oil pan several mo...

Re: The S2000

Ive done valve adjustment. Much quieter and the car feels smoother. Once these bushings come in the car will be almost as good as new.

Re: Saul's 1998 Integra GSR coupe

Obligatory alignment pic :D Since stock camber is not adjustable, I focused my efforts on the toe. I went with 1/16th toe out front and rear to make the car more lively in the corners. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/honda-tech.com-vbulletin/1024x768/80-0fb46463_7e1b_4df8_9b99_9a3779bdcee3_509a7e04c830...

Re: Saul's 1998 Integra GSR coupe

Nice. What made you go with the stoptech pads vs carbotechs? Price $100 front and rear. I don't plan on tracking this as hard as the miata and wanted a dual purpose pad for the occasional autox / trackday. I understand the tradeoffs with this pad and know i won't be out braking people but it'll all...

Re: Project: Integra

Curious how the car drives with new trailing arm bushings compared to the old, broken ones.

Bushings are last on my list but im close.
