It has been nice have the car at home and being able to work on it when I can. Making some good progress but sometimes it seems like it is two steps forward and then one step back. When doing a project like this, it is easy to say I don't need to do that now or the stock ones will be fine. You alway...

Have some time off this coming week and decided to take the car home to get some work done. Going to focus on the stereo, replace the wheel studs with ARP studs, replace the rear trailing arms (I think they are bent from the roll over my donor car was in), and replace the engine and trans mount with...

The noise is something I am bit concerned with but with the limited space to work with and the fact that I have to have a CAT and a muffler to get it licensed, its the best I could do. One thing is that all the noise making will be behind me and will have to try to out run the noise.

I know it has been a bit since I posted on my car but work still goes on when I can find time. The main delay is that I waiting on wiring harness built specifically for the 818. I dug into the wiring and was way over my head, plus it would lay out as you would hope and feel like this was an area whe...

45 pounds of boost will do that. Ouch. I'd be curious to see what they're running for an engine, as it appears to be pushing 24 pounds, and looks to be equipped with ludicrous speed. It was a full built engine and what FF is saying that there was an oil leak that dripped onto the header, started a ...

You have made great progress this year and yes, these are the joys of a project car. You never get done what you want but is always worth it when it pays off. Now you just need to get off you arse and go do some autocross. You can at least drive you car and go have some fun with it.

Eclipse is great. Eric had tinted a few of my cars and have been very happy. I will continue to use Eqlipse for my tinting & wraping needs. Eric goes way back in this forums history. Good to see you back.

Congrats Eric. That is a good looking car and there is something to say about the tech of a car if it can run a N64. Anyone up for some Mario Cart? I love the styling and dig the exhaust. At 2900lbs 200 hp can be a lot of fun and with most cars, I am sure there is some meat left on that bone. Enjoy!

Here is a video of Factory Fives second 818R they built and recently brought to VIR to test. Got a few laps in but blew the motor. It's all in the video but man are these things fast. Watch the telemetry on how fast it accelerates and quick it comes out of the corner. [ame]http://m.youtube.com/watch...

Checked a couple of boxes off the list today. The intercooler kit is 100% in and plumbed as well as all the coolant lines. I needed to loosely attach a side panel to check clearances and to mock up the fuel filler tube. Starts to give you an idea of the look and was some good motivation. At this poi...

The water to air system uses a radiator style heat exchanger and eliminates the need for an overflow tank. The entire system holds two gallons of coolant pushed by a Boch pump that is used on the GT500's. The stickers on the intercooler are coming off and something else will takes its place. I am ho...
