AHHH! Twice the site times out on my posts and this is the third time I am writing this. Works continues, wheel spaces/ longer studs installed, fuel lines done, sound deadening installed, turbo & header (wrapped as well) final install, brake lines started, pedals and throttle cable in and I ditched ...

First things first, I had when the site times out after writing a kick as post. AHHH!!!. We here is the short version. Things are moving alone but life gets in the way. I really want to get this thing running by thanksgiving and have a good shot. A lot of the build was mocked up and is now buttoned ...

I like it. Progress is progress and looks likes Mazda kept to the original recipe; light, nimble and fun to drive. Some say the ND could weight as light as 2300 lbs and a redesigned engine that revs to 7500 rpms . The design to me looks like a FR-S roadster with a touch of Z4. I really would like to...

Did you have any issues getting them out? When I did mine it was a PIA even with a tool. I ended up having to burn out the majority of them but what a difference.

I am curious on this topic as well for the 818. Does anyone have any recommendations on a shop that does really good work? I have some design ideas that I could do fairly easily in vinyl and also planning on doing some on the interior as well. I would also be interested in peoples experience with vi...

It always amazed me how many people under estimate the Miata. That Porsche will pull on you in the straights but it didn't take much to reel him in on the curves. Great driving and looks like you now have a really good feel for the Miata. I truly miss my Miata and am itching to get out on the track....

I am 6'3" and have had to make some changes so I can fit. If the car was built with stock parts and per the manual, I would not fit. The steering column was shortened by 2", I went with a aftermarket gas tank to gain 3" and then the short hub/steering wheel gave me another 1-1/2". All in all, I now ...

Wheels and tires came in yesterday and I am very pleased with how they turned out. Right now as they sit, everything clears but by an 1/8" . It is primarily the rear and am running 5mm spacer and an 8mm space should do the trick. The 5mm will move to the front and help will some clearance at full lo...

Point taken. I do know that there are many safety feature engineered into the chassis and I do know there is a crumple zone in back (along with the front) and that the fire wall was designed to contain the engine in the event of an accident. Plus, the rear of the trans still needs to be removed and ...

It will be driven on the street but that is a concern and there is not much you can do. Plus, who wants to add weight to a 1800 lbs sports car. Just pray and insure the car right.

No matching handbrake, I am stuck with the crappy Subaru one and due to space the tell you to mount it at an angle which I don't like and think looks funny. I was thinking about figuring out another system but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

Factory Five makes some good stuff. They are about to release a Porsche 914 kit but for me if I were to build another FF I would do the 33 ford with a Coyote. So if there are any children in the room, please ask them to leave before looking at the car porn below. The is really the last thing on my l...
