Re: 1970 Ford F250 Explorer

Rain during the week, nice on weekends seems like a good compromise.

Get that hooked up.

Re: Do you change your own oil?

Strangely, automotive fluids are some of the things I don't mind messing with. Except coolant.

Re: My New Toy

I'd be curious to under stand more about what you mean by "cleaning and repair" to restore the proper voltage to the cluster. Mostly grounds?

Re: WANTED: Cobb AP Tune (MS6)

Posted link for you in chat to buy one. Definitely better off having one, especially since they are fairly available used and you can update the tune as you change things.

Re: The Making of a garage

Paint is done as well.

Floor will come after cabinets, which is another benefit of this storage solution (everything off the floor).

I do need to get the freezer out of the garage though. Will free up some space, but mostly it interferes with the cabinet layout.

Re: The Making of a garage

Drywall is all complete, has been for a bit. I had been putting off running the wires for the photo eyes (safety sensors)and the hardwired controllers because I don't want the wires highly visible. I ended up running all of the wires to the front of the garage so that the buttons are easy to get to ...

Re: Worth $1000?

So what does $1,115 get you in the cougar?

Would get me another Pole Position for the S2K...or pretty close to a hardtop. Maybe car flipping is the way to go.

Maybe this would be another good flip for you? Can't believe its really $538.00.

Re: PPIHC Fan Fest and Hill Climb 2017

Did you guys only take one vehicle up the road? I actually wouldn't mind going to the event, but unfortunately will likely be working on my lumberjacking skills. Definitely interested in Fan Fest though. Might see about coming down for that. Is Chris' work accessible from a traffic perspective at 5:...

Re: Ok, I'll go first...

Not sure how to connect Deer Creek Canyon to Mt. Evans/Morrison either, but sounds interesting. Lookout Mountain would be a good short drive early in the morning. It is heavily used by cyclists (as is Deer Creek Canyon), but would be as close to F&F 3 or Initial D as it gets. This can be linked ...
