The mechanical pump is driven by the cam, and mounted to the head (or block in engines with the cam the block - OHV). Most cars in this era used a pump like this. Carbs usually only use a max of 5-6 PSI. I have heard that the 240/260z's suffered from vapor lock (fuel boil in fuel lines) so the elect...

Tried to start it Monday night with my stock (cracked diaphagm) fuel pump. It started to send fuel to the carbs and then let go (beeg leak). Last night I took my rims/flats along with my donated tires to the new Les Schwab out on C470 and Bowles (just to give the new store a try). Was there for two ...

Picked up material for the strut bar towers (2.25" ID or very very close to it pipe) and pipe for the cross bar pieces (~1.00" ID). I have been playing with the sheet metal I have for the base. So now I just need to get the DOM and I will have all the neccesary materials. Cost thus far (aside from ...

Just picked this up for Lemons/Chump car racing. Got it to start last night running on carb cleaner. Tires need a little air!

I think your best bet is an autocross type course. Spinning, missing a brake zone or corner means a cone goes down. Road course, would likely inflict damage to the car. Track rental fees are huge compare to lot fees. Sanctioning (insurance) should be $10-15 a driver (guess) for the day. You'll have ...
