Re: Saul's 1998 Integra GSR coupe

It's a Honda. Track and be happy. Or continue to beat on your miata and preserve this as you have been trying to do.

Re: Funny Stuff

accurate. very accurate.

I haven't brought myself to look at the car carefully after getting it back from the auto body shop most recently. I don't want to find the imperfections because I know how upset I'll be. Since I drove it home in rain, it has been dirty, so no use really looking at it.

Re: The Making of a garage

I need to know more about this projector idea. The back wall adjacent to the freezer should generally be fairly open. The wall between the two 4 outlet boxes will also be fairly open above 30" and below 72". Does it need to be fairly dark for the projectors to be fairly visible? Seems that...

Re: The Making of a garage

It is difficult thinking that i will have to eventually put stuff in the garage. I really like nice open space free of clutter. Although I really want to go to shelving next, realistically, flooring should be the next step so that I don't have cabinets and other stuff in the way. It is already open ...

Re: Let's talk flooring

I'm at a new address now, so maybe I'm good to go for another sample. I also only got a solid sample previously. Regarding the leaf blower: Does it tend to want to blow out the tiles by uplift? Also, do you think it would take care of the mess caused by the rocks and other stuff that accumulates dur...

Re: 1967 Mercury Cougar

I don't understand the lockout kit (what it does), so am curious why an alignment shop would have an issue.

I've yet to try an alignment shop I really liked. Seems like everyone I have been to has a "close enough" attitude or "we only do oem specs" policy.

Re: Let's talk flooring

If you want a second tile to get a better look, you can have mine. Would be fun to have a board with enough active members getting sample tiles to lay a floor in a user's garage at no cost! Then again, if the board was that active, the company might sponsor a "contest" to do such a thing. ...

Re: New House Remodel Projects

Sounds like a good garage set up. I really want to be able to stream youtube and look at references or DIY threads in the garage on a big screen so anybody could look at it at the same time. I'm a little worried about the durability of a television in that environment though. Sounds like your toughb...

Re: The Making of a garage

First coat of paint is on the walls. Coverage was pretty solid. Some Painter errors left some spots to touch up, but since I ended up buying way too much paint, I'll probably do touch ups, then hit it all with a second coat...or just do the second coat. Paint color on left, primer on right. 26077.jp...

What are your thoughts on the chinese pipe kit you got from a weldability standpoint? What process did you use to weld the downpipe and flanges?

Re: The S2000

I like my power antenna. showoff. Car threw a DTC for misfire in cylinder 3 yesterday. After the last track session (months ago), the car started throwing codes for misfires. I was cautioned that it may have been just because of the car being flogged at the track and the computer adjusting to norma...

Re: The S2000

Undertook another massive DIY project: remove and replace radio antenna. While my car was in autobody, it was brought to my attention that a previous owner must have broken the stock antenna and replaced it with a non stock base and antenna. The base was replaced under insurance, but they did not re...
