A Dodge Dart GT the other day. Wasn't expecting it so I had a slow start off the line but the Grey 8 walked right past him after 2nd.

I am pretty sure the vinyl will stick to plasti dip, but I think that I would wrap the car, tape off along the edge of the vinyl, then plastidip as opposed to trying to stick the vinyl to the plastidip. The nice things about plastidip are that it can be remove without affecting the vinyl, and could...

Hey Tim, do you want the jamb/underhood to be black? I was thinking what if you plastidip them before you wrap them? Not sure how well or if the vinyl will stick the the plastidip though.

It's actually a regular door, not a suicide door, but yea I wish it was on the driver's side. Then you could quickly throw a bag in the back seat without walking around the car. And I didn't look at the ST until after I'd already bought the Veloster but to get one with the same options would be abo...

Hyundai gives the same warranty as Kia right? I forget which is the Parent Company. 10yr/10k miles. I was thinking of a Veloster Turbo and I like how they look. Wish the suicide door was on both sides of the car. I agree with what you said about features and interior of Hyundai/Kia and even the styl...

That is cool. When I first saw him using the shear, I thought "I need one of those", but then I saw how wide the cut was. That is a ton of material lost (looked like 1/4"/cut). I really liked watching him lay it out. Lots of cool little tricks in there. Thanks GR8! Yeah, I've used shears like that ...

I stumbled on this on youtube. Saw this guy make a wooden spoon then I clicked on his video of a Pirates chest. Thought I would share with all the welding talk going around.

V8 Taureg this evening. Driving alongside him for a short bit and we got caught at a light. He ended up 2 cars behind in the next lane. I proceeded as normal then I see him make a move around some cars and come flying up behind me. I was doing about 35 in 3rd. Floored it and he already had momentum ...

Dedicated set for sure. This is something I still have not done. Been over 10yrs with the 8 and it has never seen winter rubber. :( Now that I have 2 extra sets of RX-8 wheels in decent condition I'll probably some winter rubber for the Grey 8.

Nice! I have too many projects on my hand at the moment but welding is something I definitely want to learn. It'll help when putting together that Custom TK, that I still have to find time to build.

If you find a fender the only place I can recommend for painting at the moment is Rickenbough. They are expensive though. I used them on the Blue 8 last year for an insurance job and it came out great. If they were not so expensive I would have taken the grey 8 there. As far as custom work though I ...
