I think my '88 Stang had a 2.73 rear! I used to drive around at over 70 MPH in 2nd gear. I could smoke the tires form a dead stop. :eek:

It's not just the tuning... If you get a 4-bbl, you may be looking at regular rebuilds. Edelbrock is good. You may find some good info on the Jeep sites. Is it a 360 or 318? I'd stay away from the Holley, and try to find a Carter or something requiring less maintenance. I had a '74, and the ony problem I had was a u-joint.
