My current and future plans for the RX-8
What's up everyone. I have not posted about my RX-8's in a while. Have had the blue one over 10yrs now. I just finished an "upgrade" to the Blue RX-8 and thought I'd post that up and all the future plans I have for it in one place. I just completed installing the larger Canadian Windshield Washer Fl...

There was a guy that had one but he moved to Texas. It was the TwistedRotors TR-01. Worked great. I'm looking to buy one as well. Especially since I felt the Grey 8 misfire a few weeks ago at 7k while getting on to the highway. Apparently the TR-01 V2 is sold out. It's been like that for over a year...

I get back from Brazil Tomorrow night. I may be able to help next week sometime. The relay may be on the plastic under tray, you may be able to see it if you pull down the end closer to the motor. Any time after e works. I will be getting some days off for once so I may be able to help sometime duri...

Update #2 So on the advice of Jimmy, I took it to an exhaust shop in Denver. They concurred with our conclusion that the catalytic converter needs replacement. Now the question is whether I go with a new OEM cat for $1080 or with a direct fit replacement for $520. I asked them what brand it was, an...

More often then not they are different sizes. It all depends on the car. I once got a 1" larger size for my sisters Mustang on the driver side and it minimized that dead-zone at the bottom and ended up wiping past the top of the windshield. Almost a clear view all around. You just want to make sure ...

No problem man! Whoever had the car took the OEM cat out, chopped the flanges off and popped in a single cheap aftermarket cat. The welded shut 3rd bung for a 02 sensor and the dash gauges told me it definitely was turbo charged at one point. They welded the second O2 sensor before the cat, where in...
