You'd have to do the timing belt anyway, presumably- no loss there.
Manual is good news, so is the 2.8. It's slow as balls, but more reliable. I do see the irony in using reliable and Audi in the same sentence, ha ha.

I had a 2.8 A4, and everything Tut said is right. Oddly, I never had to dump *that* much into it. I did kinda hate how slow it was though.

On a completely and utterly unrelated note, anybody else thinking of trading in their car for a Lime Rock C7 Corvette?
