Cobb is currently developing a TBE for the ms3:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>
I forgot that ambient sound was 10 dB higher as well. That also may be where the extra dB or so is coming from. Regardless the cat didn't lower sound levels much if any but we are used to that with our metal substrate cat. It is a pretty poor muffler compared to a ceramic brick cat.

The dB readings are considerably lower than an EVO with our exhaust. The EVO with our full catted TBE tested at 94dB. Right at the top of the SAE limit. The EVO exhaust is much straighter, so that makes sense. So if you liked the sound of the EVO with our TBE, then you should really like the MS3 with our TBE. It sounds slightly deeper and is more to my taste than the EVO with our TBE. Side note........our exhaust is about the only one I like on the EVO. Everything else makes it sound like a tractor IMHO. But maybe I'm biased. :D Needless to say the MS3 sounds sweet. Kinda Subaru-ish

Anytime you replace the factory cats there is a chance of your car throwing a CEL. That said, ours has not thrown a CEL yet and we have not turned off the CEL in the mapping during testing just for this reason. As pointed out, our Stage 2 mapping will defeat the CEL in case it does want to pop-up. And since I do not recommend running a downpipe without proper tuning, for our uses it definitely will not due to the Stage 2 mapping. :)

Here is a short/small/grainy video so that it can be downloaded quickly to hear. The sound is what we all know is what we really buy exhausts for. The performance is a bonus. :D

Here is how it goes:
Start
Slightly high idle for a few seconds
3 revs at ~2500 RPM
3 revs at ~3500 RPM
3 revs at ~4500 RPM
3 revs at near redline, back to 3000, then back up to to redline
Hold at ~3500 RPM for a few seconds
1 rev at near redline
Down to normal idle for a few seconds

Enjoy![/b]

Videos in quote. My goodness it sounds great! Soon Cobb will have all my money once the Accessport and TBE comes out!
Additionally they will have a FMIC and a short throw shifter for the ms3 in the future. That is in addition to the SRI, springs, and sways they already offer! I <3 Cobb!

I think those are the expected ETA.

Maybe by end of summer I'll have more than some all weather floor mats and a Mazdaspeed key chain...
