My Kumho ASXs were getting work. 6/32 was the best tire, with one at 4/32. So I replaced them today with another set, and MAN! I was having to take it easy around corners, merging, etc. Not any more.

Only got 10K miles out of the first set...I'll try to make this set last a little longer...

But MAN, OH MAN is it good to be able to turn hard again.

Nice. For some reason, in my casual observations, Mazdas seem to be hard on the Kumho ASX. I've known several people who have worn through them in fairly short order.

I can't wait to air up my 17" summer wheels/tires again. I'm tired of tip-toeing through corners.

Ditto on the tip-toe thing. I never had a chance to get much wear on the Ecsta SPT tires I had on the 6i. I think I put around 8k on the car before I traded it in. I did think that they were a great handling tire, especially for the money.

Yeah, I absolutely LOVE the grip on the ASXs. I could have waited another 3 months if it were summer, but with more snow coming...
