Did you change the air filter after all of that? Make sure the intake to your airbox is not obstructed. What tire pressure are you running? You should be able to check on what type of oil was put in on your receipt. You could try disconnecting the battery for about 5 minutes to see if you get an ECU reset. Not sure about the CX-7, as I've never looked at one.

How does acceleration feel? I used to get pretty bad mileage in the cold with my turbos, but they really performed well.

Do you always buy your gas at the same place? If so, go somewhere else and see if it improves. Your gas station could be giving you something less than the octane rating you THINK you're getting.

Well, I'm not good with cars but once the plugs are checked, usually you'll be able to tell wether it's rich or lean. Definitely odd though. It sounds under warranty, eh? That'll help the pocketbook at least. Keep us posted!

I think that works out to be around 14mpg. I have heard around 16mpg around town is quite normal....what is your commute like?

My commute is Arapahoe Rd to I-25, I-25 to I-225 to Tamarac Pkwy to my work a few blocks away. Then coming home I drive through DTC to Arapahoe Rd, get onto Broncos Pkwy to Chambers and open it up....
Starting on Monday when I have to start driving a little further and a lot more highway, it might help it some....

Yes yes I have a lead foot is what I'm told

Did you get the oil changed soemwhere? Or did you and your dad do it? I know it's pretty common at the oil change places for them to forget to plug in MAF(Mass Air Flow) sensors, or to screw up assempbling the air box assembly after they check/change the air filter. If the MAF was unplugged you'd get a cel. But if you have any kind of gap in the air box or a loose or unplugged vacuum line, that will cause your sudden loss of fuel mileage. Go over the air intake and vacuum lines witha fine tooth comb and make sure nothing is loose, cracked, or unplugged.

I always take my CX up to BURT for my oil changes. But I will go back over everything and see if they didn't screw up something. Hopefully this afternoon before it gets to nasty outside I can do that.
