I thought the lower grille pinstriped would look good too but from that angle it just looks like your car is wearing lipstick. Take a pic further away to get the whole car in there.

I'm gonna be honest. It looks out of place. You've got polished gunmetal wheels, clear side markers, amber bumper markers, chrome headlights, etc. Lots of things clashing. I personally feel you need MORE red. I like the idea, just need more to go with it so it looks like it belongs. Keep it up!

well after a while there will be more red. the calipers, engine trim, interior pieces, etc. eventually it shouldnt look too out of place.

edit: and note that its a cell-phone quality picture. the side markers in front are actually the stock yellow/orange, and the headlights arent so bright.

Finally got her lowered. and to celebrate i also clay-bar'ed and waxed her nice and shiny clean! i used the Meguiars clay kit from autozone. the one that includes the bar, lubricant, wax, and microfiber cloth. my paint is a mess. there are tons of scratches, chips, and just worn out patches. parents are suggesting a re-spray for my high school graduation present. i dont know if it is worth it or not considering the large amount of rust on the car.

yeah the paint is so smooth now. i forgot to do the roof, and i was wiping down the car before the pictures (it had gotten dusty from this wind) and i had to use a wet rag to get the dirt off instead of just the dry towel

Nice ride! I would have killed to have been driving something like that in high school. I don't blame you for second guessing the re-spray. I don't think I would do it. Even if it would look nicer, a good paint job is really expensive and a cheap one probably won't hold up much better than your existing factory paint.

haha yeah im glad i have what i have. not to brag or anything but im pretty sure its one of the nicest cars in the parking lot at my school. the only ones that beat it are my friends 2008 SS truck and this kids STI that he put a ton of money into. yeah the whole painting thing has been on my mind for a long time now and i just dont know what i want to do yet. i think it'd just be better to buy a new car haha.
