The recall for the 6i is a pcm reflash/recalibration. No parts were replaced. I was in/out in 30 minutes.

probably just plecebo or colder weather, but the car feels more lively since the reflash. I asked the tech if it gave me more hp, he said yes in a joking manner.

sorry, I bought the car there and they had wifi so I could work while I waited, the are also just down the street from me.
Nothing against Burt, MAG was just closer. I also haven't been stiffed by them like others have.

The only reason me and Pooh Bear ever went to McD was because we had a really good friend that worked there and let us drive all the cars on the lot whenever we were bored and had nothing to do. (Of course this was before Pooh Bear started working at Burt)

when we get together, that's what happens. We get BORED.. Plus we like to see what other cars are like, and trust me we have seen some pretty shitty cars, but we have also driven a lot of bad ass cars. But that is for a different thread.. this one is for the recall.. I should probably check into this as well huh? I had a check engine light come on the other day, but we got it cleared. It was all because I didn't let the car warm up before I started to drive it.. DOH! I was in a hurry to get home and forgot all about it.

This was before we got married Guido.. haha

Yeah Pooh Bear's CEL came on the day before mine, but his was because a little rabbit decided to chew threw some wires, and now his boost gauge doesn't work. Had to take his car into the shop and after 170 bucks everything was fixed.
Stupid rabbits thinking the damn Vdumb was his mommy.

My dad had a porche BoxterS and one time the mice chewed a bunch of. My dad was not happy when his $65k new car would not start. They had it trucked from Grand Junction to Denver to the dealer. About $200 to fix.
