what did you use to fill the gap between the gauge and the vent?

A 52mm desk wire gromet that you can buy at any officedepot, officemax type store. Depends on what boost gauge you get size wise. It does take some work to take the dremmel and make it so it would fit good. I will give credit where it is do. I got the idea and was helped by the guy who originaly came up with the idea on the mazda247 forums.

Spatty, did you do the ambient reset on your gauge when you installed it? Im just wondering what readings you are getting. Mine idles between -18 and -21...highest boost reading ive seen is 14. Sound about right?

I gotta say, whoever came up with the boost gauge mounted in the vent was pretty damn slick....I;ve had nothing but wOw compliments about it so far....thanks to whoever...Spatty I guess, since he posted it..MS3 for letting me get a live and personal look... I did however scratch the vent pod on the outside, so I may redo it, but for now it looks good enough...
Ill post pics tomorrow, got my wheels on today too, i love love it...

It was free, cause I did it myself, well except for parts, and gas driving around to all the damn office depot's in the world... hooking it up was actually pretty easy, had the hose and wire ran in about 30 minutes.
