Haven't voided it YET, is what you mean, just wait til they have to pay for something, especially with no cat and a turbo problem, it's only a matter of time.

Learn why your car smokes first, THEN go talk to Mazda...

Heres a start in the right direction:

I'm guessing I should I get one of those as a "preventative", even though I don't have a smoker. (?)

I don't know if I'd order anything from PTP anymore. Something happened and they went MIA from MSF.org and are now defunct, or at least that's what tbot was saying.

I have not been in the "scene" for a while, so I do not know the facts about PTP and where they stand currently. Im sure the part can be found somewhere..there were many people buying something at Home Depot or a hardware store that was identical to the piece PTP was selling. All it is is a restrictor. Also, anybody can install this piece in a matter of minutes, even my 8 year old daughter.. movovr has one installed i believe, he may be able to speak up on difficulty

It's strange that an '09 is smoking. Most '08.5-'09s don't have the smoky turbo issue. I haven't had any cats for like 8 months and 10k miles now and no smoke, at least not at idle. WOT flat foot shifts however.... lol.

that just opened a whole new can of worms...but if u don't really wanna do much else, then an atp gt28 is the best way to go, bolts right up and ur golden. if u wanna make more power...go to a t3 style turbo for better flow.

There was a guy on msf selling a bunch of PCVs. Matt Damond, I think. MAybe once they're back up, you can hit him up for one or two. I think he wants $15 each.

The PTP pcv fix literally takes 5 minutes. You pull the line off the top right side of the crankcase, drop the "pill" in and tap with a mallet so it's snug. Put the line back on and your done.
