it was probably a bit less then $300.

$207 - MS I Kit + whatever shipping was
$20 - gm coolant sensor with pigtail
$20 - gm AIT sensor with pigtail
$18 - 2 sensor weld bungs
$15 - few feet of wire (including some shielded wire for the crank sensor)
$8 - heat shrink
$6 - connectors

these are fairly rough estimates.. as you can see there's a bit of money tied up in the sensors and there was some welding.. I would probably just use the stock sensors. I had access to a well stock shop and almost everything that I needed.

thats awesome thanks for the breakdown. i will order it soon. i have my own shop with a welder and whatnot. if you are down, i could compensate you for your time and drive to help me install it... would you be up for that?

http://www.diyautotune.com/ is a great place to get a kit. If you plan on soldering it yourself and don't have much experience.. I would recommend a little practice before hand. I started by assembling a Jimstim which is used to bench test a megasquirt, they are $60 I think... or you could just go for it and I have a Stim you can use to test.
