Volvo Fun, my '01 V70
I figured my 60-something year old aunt would prefer it in stock form. I'll make a couple of extra bucks selling out the few parts I have.

What do you wish you knew going in that you know getting out? What was the best thing about this volvo wagon? What was the worst?
Worst is easy: The computer integration of nearly every component of the vehicle. A few things are difficult to get to, but that's true on any car. Cost of parts can be high, you really have to search. Most places are creeping up in price, too. For simplicity's sake, I'd steer away from AWD. Much more room in there without the angle gear.
Liked: Space, extremely comfortable, decent performance and very easy to improve since it's a turbo car. If I were to hunt for another, I'd search for a 5 speed T5, but that will be hard to find. Rs are far more "common" in manual transmission form, but they have more computer nannies than any other V70.
Mind you, I got into this car because it was inexpensive and family capable. Inevitably, my car was never used as the family ride. It is a very capable hauler. It was the Home Depot rig. I'd easily get another V70, I just would one that is not an XC. Nothing against the XC, I've just grown to like the looks of the regular V70.
