Floor mats are in. After I go down today and pick them up, I'll officially be done with Mazda of Lakewood. Anything else that needs to be ordered, warranty claims, etc will be done elsewhere. I'd tell them about the paint guys screwing up, but I can already see them rolling their eyes when I pull in. I'm surprised that they haven't put armed guards out there yet to turn me away.

Oh, and of course, I had to call to make sure they were in. Expecting a call from them is asking way too much.

finally, you have had the car a month? glad this who fiasco is almost over..... [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/6f1d77c8.gif[/img]

It'll be 4 weeks on Saturday. It took them until last Friday to actually fix anything that was on the We Owe doc...except the windshield they had screwed up the previous Monday.

In a "You've gotta be kidding me." moment, I just received a phone call from Mazda of Lakewood asking me to rate their "service". When I saw the phone number come up, I thought they were going to ask for the floor mats back.

And here I thought I was done. The radio issue I've been having? Abnormally loud volume, hiss, etc? I have the Bose system in my car and they installed the non-Bose head unit. Sigh.

All my service has been done through McDonald Auto, all my recalls and even a full clutch replacement for the TSB. Everything has been perfect they even aligned my car for free when I complained it pulled to the right ever so lightly. They are done when they say they will be.....and very good with the phone calls...they didn't say anything about the CAI, BOV, ETS, or TP. Check them out......

Just find a service tech you like, at whatever dealership. Someone will always have a problem with a dealership.

For instance, I can't stand McDonald automotive. I went in for the clutch TSB and told them the clutch was difficult to operate and basically described the same symptoms as those listed in the clutch tsb and I was denied. The reason for denial was that my complaints did not match those on the tsb.

Bottom line, there are retards everywhere, you just have to keep looking until you can find someone you are happy with.

Trust me, I don't WANT to go there. All of the stuff I've posted has been related to stuff they've owed me from the purchase of the car. The stereo was replaced under warranty, but they replaced it with the wrong one. I don't think another dealership would fix that error.

Ok, so now I think I'm actually done with them. I was in and out fairly quickly, so that made me happy. What didn't make me happy is that the service guy said that they KNEW they installed the wrong one and were waiting for this one to arrive. Apparently, it arrived on Thursday and they never called to let me know. It took me calling them today for them to let me know. Not impressed, and I'm glad I won't be going back.
