No I understand! Trust me, and I do want it done right, but the connections I have thru work I can get the aluminum hot pipe tapped and fitted for free, so it doesn't make sense to pay for something thats gunna tap the silicone which sounds kinda cheesy to me is all.

So got it installed. And yeah the CAI gets in the way and I can't get the thing to lay flat enough to not rub the hood w/o kinking the recirc hose. I'll be getting a "radiator" hose for it by the end of the week to fix that problem.

But, what has everyone else noticed over stock? So far really the only thing for me is that it pulls harder in higher RPM's. It doesn't sound any louder or sound any different that stock. I double checked all my lines/fittings and everything looks good.

I noticed a decrease in compressor surge, and more stable boost levels... But I'm further up the mod chain than you, you may notice different changes. Fear not, wether you feel big changes or not... Its the best BOV you can get for ur car

Hope you get it worked out too. Once you get it situated, I'm sure you'll be stoked. I noticed that the barbs weren't very tight on mine. The perfectionist in me knows I'll be doing this one more time down the road, to get it exact- lol.

I would agree, the major difference I could tell was a more steady boost, as well as longer lasting (higher rpms).

You really won't appreciate the benefits of the Synapse until you are more modded. I had all sorts of compressor surge with my stock and HKS BOV, and my Synapse until I had it installed correctly thanks to Eric (OCD). This BOV is just light ears beyond what else is available in the market.

Weren't people seeing compressor surge even with an upgraded TMIC?

I agree though. I personally may not "need" the Synapse yet, but hope to soon;)
