Doubt it would fit in my garage. At least not without taking the freezer and mini-fridge out. The Mustang gives me about a foot and a half of space between that stuff and the front bumper and you've got another 3.5 feet or so of length over that.

Well, my in-laws have a 2007 Tundra DoubleCab (in Toyota speak, the regular extended cab) so I was able to compare that to the CrewMax and see what it was like with some miles on it (they have 80k on their Tundra). Nice that it has no rattles, creaks or anything. They use their truck for towing, so it's not babied. I also rode in the back seat quite a bit. More space than I thought there would be, but I'm definitely glad we got the CrewMax. Jackson was able to kick the seat in front of him in the D/C, but can't come anywhere close in my truck. The rear windows also cut into visibility quite a bit, too.

Primarily, it was good to see that it's still a very solid truck 6 years after they bought it. He does have some nice Enkei wheels on it, too.

had some nice Enkei wheels on it. "I don't know why your truck is on blocks and the wheels are missing, dad"

Added the trip computer buttons (OEM) to the Tundra. Mine came with just blanks on the dash where the stock buttons go. Ordered the switch, received it yesterday, plugged it in, and now see just how fuel inefficient a big ol' truck is! Wee! I'd show a pic, but...stock buttons are stock buttons. If you really want to see pics, they're in this thread: http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/tundra/192965-official-how-add-mpg-buttons-thread/

Found some OEM side steps in Castle Rock, picked em up this morning and put them on the truck today. They're currently plastidip'd black. I'll probably leave them like that through winter, then peel them...they're brushed stainless steel underneath the dip.

I would love to have that truck.

My garage is so tiny that I have a tennis ball hanging from the roof to let me know when to stop.

No call, no message....

I changed the front brakes on the Avalanche on Saturday.

Now you just need the wheels.

Pics?

No pics yet. I put them on in the bitter cold hours in the dark. I figured black steps on a black truck during the night probably wouldn't show up well. Wheels are in the distant future, but I've been contemplating powder coating the front/rear bumpers. The end look would be:

I like the blacked out look but since you will have brushed stainless steps it might look better with the chrome

I think you will be good either way. If you decide to go to black steps permanantly, you might consider rhinolining or equivalent.

I like the black on that truck. I assume the wheels will be polished.

I removed the dip from the steps this weekend, looks much better, IMO. The black didn't match the truck very well, I don't like mixed sheens/mixed shades. Of course, now I have mixed metals....steel wheels, chrome bumpers, stainless steps.

I washed the beast as well and discovered...I've finally done it. I purchased an appliance. I have zero desire to modify the truck (might add a tonneau, but out of functionality for camping rather than looks). When I get in and drive it, it's a point A - B vehicle. Damn. It sure is functional though. I'm not tired of the truck in any way, I really like it, I just don't have any desire to spend money on it!

Washed, compounded, glazed, waxed today. Did the wife's ride, too. The truck takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r. Stupid large vehicle. Ha.
