I agree, it hurts to look at my "Zoomie" pictures anymore.. I miss that car so much, but I sure do love the new CX-7.. I guess it's the memories we had in those cars, and our new cars just don't have those memories yet.

I just think that Lapis blue suited that car so well. Very photogenic...hehe. I told my girlfriend I was going to paint the RX-8 and she just laughed.

Very well put. I am 1-2 years from trading my baby, but I can already tell I'll miss her. I spent three years commuting between the Springs and Aurora in this car. 3 hours a day, 4 times a week. Dark, snow, rain, sleet, ice, wind, hail -- you name it, the 6 got me through it. Even when I crashed in the snow, it kept ME safe.

It was truly the first NEW car I have owned that was MINE (read: not the wife's, while I drive the POS hand-me-down), and the only performance car I've owned. To this day, spending an hour in the 6 is time away from my troubles.

I do miss the 6, still. I want it back, parked right next the the RX-8!

I would repaint my 8 Lapis blue. you should do it behind her back and see if she laughs when you show it to her.

If I had the extra money to do so, I'd do it. She'll stay Ti Gray. The money for paint is better used for more zoom.

The car is actually parked in that picture. The water's rushing down the street. All of that rain fell within an hour or so.

I'd take mine back as a commuter car, and leave the 8 for fun. I wouldn't swap the 8 back for it, though. No way.

I sat down and did a cost comparison of everything I wanted to do to my current 3, vs buying a speed3 and what I would want to do to it... In the long run buying a Speed3 would be cheaper... but I have so many fond memories in my car, and its really really hard to justify getting rid of a car just because. In the past 3 years 80k miles I really haven't had a single complaint or problem with the car.

Strangely, I do not miss my STI... I miss the cars I had previous, but no lingering thoughts for the STI... I loved the performance, oh man did I love the performance, but for some reason I never really grew attached to it. I think part of that was because I my mindset was "It almost perfect for me the way it is, other than small items I don't want to change it much" where as the mindset with the 3 is, there is so much potential and so much I want to do and there is going to be a lot of blood sweat and time put into this car.
