This right here is why I stay with Mazda. They are so reliable it's amazing. It hurts to see it like that, but for the driver to come out without a scratch is a miracle. One of the guys at Pooh Bears work had a Mazda 6s white, OMG that car was goregous! well someone hit him from behind at i believe 50mph? maybe faster then that. His baby girl was in the backseat, and it didn't even hurt her. The car was totalled out, and no one was hurt.

Saw that a while back on the 3 forums. Really wasnt brake failure per say, just a not so smart operator who allowed his brake pads to get ridiculously low, to the point the pads were almost non existent so when he hit the brakes at the end of the straight the car thought he was on ice as there was no brake pad being applied to the rotor and he slammed the wall. Glad to see he was ok and that the car took all of the impact. Just bad judgment of brake wear unfortunatly.

Blatant off-topic-ers!

Yeah the guy didn't check his pads, and the car thought it was on ice so that didn't help either. My brakes are starting to squeek...guess I'll check them out.
