Just wondering if anyone else has had the dash in their Mazda 3 crack for no reason what so ever...discovered this in my car this morning. Was not there yesterday or the day before. Has anyone else had their dash crack? Is this common? There is no other damage to the dash. Any ideas how to fix it?:mad:

Yep, I have the same exact thing on my dash. It happened the first winter I had my car. It's weird!

Mine has it and it hasn't gotten any larger since it happened. It's common that it cracks right there too.

WTH...did you guys contact Mazda about it or anything? And why is it only happening to chicks? lol

I don't have a big problem with it so I didn't contact Mazda. It's just normal wear and tear on the dash for all I care. It's not affecting the performance so... yeah I don't really mind. But mine had it when I bought it, it didn't happen after I bought it. The person before me who owned it was a guy so there goes that theory.

I didn't do anything about it either, it doesn't bother me. I suppose a little paint could cover it up. But honestly, it's not going to get any bigger than that. That's what it's going to be the rest of the days you own it.
