Hey, a guy I work with told me that he was out in Golden at Go Subaru West and they have the new 2008 STI on the showroom floor. He talked with a couple of the sales people and people were flocking in to see it. He said it looked real similar to the Speed3. I may have to go check it out on my days off.

You can't miss the NEW STI, big difference between it and the regular WRX is the flared fenders all around and rear spoiler.

Well, over on Nasioc, a couple tuner companies (Perrin & Yimi Sport) have already strapped a couple new '08 STI's to their dynos.... they don't make anymore power than the former STI's to the wheels... and on Autoblog someone has ran them on Tsukuba, which both the new EVO & new STI are slower than the outgoing EVO & STI:
http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/05/evo-x-v...kuba-lap-times/
I'll be keeping my '06. The '08's are nice, but getting pricey, and taking the edge away from Subaru that I've loved for so long. Nice car though, still plenty quick.
For reference, here's the threads where they strapped '08 STI's to their dynos:

^^^Granted, I don't think those cars are fully broken in, but still, no real noticeable difference on the dyno from previous STI's.

Well, here it is!
I killed two birds with one stone today... Checked out an 08 STI then got Jack in the Box to eat!! They're both just down the street from each other. Anyways, I pulled up and asked the Salesman if they had any 08 STI's, he said they just got 2 of them off the truck today, a White and Silver one. We never found the Silver one but definately found the White STI with Gold BBS's... it was sweet. I'd take it in a heartbeat. Was a very sharp looking hatch all the way around. Salesman told me the price on it was about $39,000. Here's a couple of pics I took with my daughter in my other hand... Enjoy!!
