Hmm, while I like the design, it seems too derivative of Astons/Fisker/etc. However, if that means I can get that design at a Mazda price, I'm all for it! Since this is the first car in the new design theme, I'm curious to see how others (RX7 ?) come out.

WOW!!! That is NICE!!!!
I spot a rotary bump on the hood. Eventhough this looks like a concept for a Mazda6. Or could it be a bigger Mazda9? Makes me wonder what the new lineup of cars will look like in 5-10 yrs.

I like it. Out of numerous concept cars from other manufactures recently at least this one looks more like a car i could see on the road today.

I'm stoked it looks angry! So much better than the silly grin the new ones have. Though the new ones are growing on me.

i hope they use the 16x on this concept. a family sized rotary powered car would be awesome. the cosmo was great and all but never attained the celebrity status like the rx7s did.

I just can't stop looking at this car. I want one. I want to see what they will actually make using these styling ques. What will the next RX look like? The 6, 3, CX, and even the 2? How would the Miata look? I'm curious. I hope they get moving and implement the looks soon. Especially since many of us are not big fans of the latest style.
I feel like Mazda could produce this concept right now with a Twin Turbo V6 and price it at $45k-50k.

Well yeah, that specific car is no RX and I don't think the 16X Rotary would be enough for a Sedan. Unless it was Turbo Charged. Then there's the Fuel Economuy. So unless it looks like a 2-door sports car a Rotary shouldn't go into it.

I like it, but with those tiny windows it may be tough to see around you while driving.

Nah. The windows look big. The overall size of the car looks bigger than the 6. If people in 300Cs or equivilant can drive with their windows than it's possible in that concept.

This is the picture that made me think of that. And the 300C is exactly what I was thinking of too. I don't know how people can see around them in those things either. Most of the time I don't think they care what's around them and just drive where they want anyway, kind of like SUV drivers.
