Flipping through the channels, I notice that CNBC is doing a live broadcast from Detroit for the Auto Show. I missed about 5 or 10 minutes near the middle, but otherwise was disappointed. All they showed were the American makes, and at that, they drooled over the new Caddys and spend about 20 minutes yapping about the "new" F-150 and Dodge Ram. What a let down. The only time they even showed the Nissan GTR was it rolling on stage diring the end credits, and they didn't even show the RX-8 or Furai.

I went onto the NAIAS offical website and they have some pictures on there, but the only ones they had for Mazda were of the concept car. Nothing really that great to look at from the other manufactures either. Looks like most of them are staying pretty much the same or all they had were the concept cars.

I was just bummed that the "official cable partner of the Detroit Auto Show", as they said about 57 times during the 1 hour show, would not show anything except Vettes, pickups, and Caddys. Yawn. I guess in reality, CNBC was just looking to fill an hour of time.
