Dang that's one good looking car. I can't decide if I like that bit of chrome on the trunk though... I'd be interested in seeing it body color instead. Anyone wanna get busy with photoshop?

I was thinking the same thing.
Done. I definitely would get it painted body color the minute I drove the car off the lot. But it's really not an accurate representation because I kinda made it as one with the trunk instead of a separate piece. Let me do another.

Here is a more realistic look at it painted. You can see the separation of the Mustache and the trunk.

I definitely like it better as the body color. Still looks great nonetheless!

It's the only one so far. Can't drive per Mazda yet just as its not for sale yet.

I'm okay with the chrome "moustache", because along with the Flying-M there is a certain symmetry that gets created, plus I think it compliments the chrome dressing on the windows up through the new front end.. It's really the only distinguishing and "second glance" feature for me, of the entire rear. Aside from it, I see the whole fascia as kinda
egh..., with (what immediately popped into my head) "a Honda Accord exhaust".
The only thing with leaving the chrome piece alone though, is that you would then have to debadge the (2) lower pieces, and debadging isn't something that really appeals to me with cars. In this case though, it's the only way to let the emblem work right and look extra sharp, with such a unique..... um... accent strip.

yeah. should be good for Mazda. a decently powered 4 banger (184hp or so) with really good fuel economy (27 or so city, 38 highway ???) They needed a winner and have had one with the CX-5, if the 6 picks up, could be great for the company.

I stopped by and saw this car in person yesterday. The pictures don't do it justice. It looks even better in person! The interior is amazing as well. It's a really wonderful car. I wish I could have driven it
