Just got myself a 2002 Protege5, silver, 5-speed, from the original owner with 110K. Pretty psyched! Had an automatic one a few years ago and loved it, so very happy to find this.
Car seems very well-maintained. I got a three ring binder with hole-punched receipts and haven't read it yet. Radiator replaced. Completely stock. Drives very nicely.
Car's mission is a practical daily-driver, as fun as cheaply possible. I won't autocross or track it. As things get replaced, I'll upgrade.
Definitely interested in a new radio and speakers - has stock CD player.
Open to suggestions on improvements, mods, etc. Especially tuning and tricks that don't cost much.
(Also, about to sell my 2000 F150 XLT, if anyone's interested.)
Zoom-Zoom ! !
Score! 2002 Protege5!

Love P5s and that one looks like it's in great shape. Nice find.

Thanks! Yeah, so far I'm really enjoying it. It's even better now that the low tire went from 20psi to 35 - whoops!
Did some radio shopping last night - clueless on what speakers to get!
Boy, though, zipping around in this thing makes me glad I didn't get the $14K Mazdaspeed3 I drove. That 260hp would get me in big trouble...
