No Sale = New Clutch

Ok so because of the price I have to ask on my car I am pretty sure I wont sell it. With that being said Im getting a new clutch and flywheel but I dont know which set up to get my choices are...

Excedy Stage 1 Clutch and Flywheel (8lbs) = around 800 bucks
Clutchmasters Stage 1 Clutch and Flywheel (8lbs) = Closer to 1000
SR Performacnce Clutch and Flywheel (9.5lbs) = 900
I also heard there is a flywheel out there that weights 11.5lbs

I want to get one that will not be extremely hard to drive. I understand that It will suck a little more in traffic with a lighter flywheel anyways but ive heard that the lighter they are the harder they are to drive. But at the same time I want to get my money's worth for the set-up. Any Suggestions?
mods:CAI, cpe a/f cusomizer, axle back exhaust, twm short throw shift, racing beat .75 inch springs, tower strut bar, hid fog and hid headlamps, tint, evil auto style carbon fiber grill, eyebrows, 18 inch kazera wheels wrapped in bf tires, and growing!

Lightweight flywheels are only hard to drive in traffic after you first install it. Once you learn how to drive with the new lightweight flywheel.

I have a Racing beat clutch, which is really an Exedy, and I love it. Mine is a racing pressure plate and street/strip disc. It took a little getting used to, but well worth the small adjustmetn. I would say it's a well made clutch and I like the fact that it still works. I drive the piss out of my car when I actually get to drive it.

So once they are broken in they aren't "hard to drive" its just getting used to it...That makes sense, Maybe I will check the warranties on all of them and go with the longest or something! did you guys do the install yourself or have it done somewhere?

I would go with the one that is a little heavier. They can be tuff to drive when starting on a hill but that is it. You want to get the real good street/strip clutch because you will be riding it a lot more.

I think I am going to go with the SR motorsports setup! Hopefully the install goes well!

I will let you know for sure how it goes! Im pretty pumped to see what kind of gains I get from the set up. I have actually decided to go with the fidanza flywheel and the fidanza clutch I am just having some trouble finding a dealer that can get the fidanza clutch. I know they make it they have the part number on the website but no one seems to sell it! Anybody know?

Try Protege Garage. They don't list the Fidanza clutch, but maybe they can get it.
