Very nice, I like how there is nothing low to the ground by the walls. Like you can sweep all the way to the wall. I had cabinets that sat a few inches off the ground and so much dust and crap collected under those, would make me nervous when welding or cutting anything that made sparks that something down there would catch fire.

Good detail on the value of open and cleanable space.I plan to use kick boards on my cabinetry for these reasons.

Reorganized a little bit this weekend. I haven't taken any pictures yet. I removed all cabinets from the back wall and moved them to the wall with the workbench. Also removed the shelves from the back wall, and moved them to the back corner. Relocated 4 of the Husky bins to the back corner. I didn't like how cluttered the back wall looked, so I emptied it off as much as possible. I also added some adjustable shelves in one of the interior closets, and my wife relocated some household items to the closet, allowing me to reclaim two of the cabinets for garage stuff. If I could, I'd move the 4 remaining Husky bins, but my wife likes where they are.

The workbench is the only floor item that isn't easily movable. I'm still trying to keep as much stuff off the floor as possible. The biggest pains for me are the bikes and hockey net. Those would be easily resolved if I could store my garbage and recycling containers outside.

I filled all of the drilled holes in the drywall and will look to paint in there sometime soon(ish). Before winter. I'd like to add lighting as well. Still debating flooring.

I'm looking at the motorized overhead hoists for bikes. The issue I need to work around with that is ceiling space and making sure my lighting remains good.

I added some ladder storage this weekend. After measuring, I noticed the gap between the two doors was perfectly spaced to hang my two light ladders. One ladder on top, the other hanging below. I can still reach it easily, and it both utilized unused space and kept things off the floor.

I plan to finish painting (or start), and my wall attached folding tables, and call it good for this year.

Last year, I dumped my craftsman boxes as the storage in them was kinda crappy for hand tool storage, and picked up a single Harbor Freight 26” box. It’s worked out well. I’ve thought of picking up another, and building a workbench out of them, but I like having it on wheels.

That is pretty clever ladder storage Huz!

I haven't got to do much to my new garage yet, I did get the openers installed and working, the track on the larger door needs a little tweaking to be smooth and silent like the small door but its close. I am loving the high lift tracks and the wall mount openers! it leaves so much room overhead!!

Thanks. I initially hung the ladder sideways and it was awful. Initially, I was going to hang them both side by side, then just tossed the one on top and used the 4 hangers for the step. I like that they are out of the way and don’t visually block anything.

I like that ladder storage! And the usefulness of space overall, like the shelves in the corner holding the chemicals.

Added a folding wall table today. I need to patch and paint the wall it’s on, as well as paint the table.
