Geez, I forgot about this thread...nothing new since house "remodeling" took center stage. Refinishing the old hardwood floors to match the new that we installed when we pulled out old nasty carpet, painting, moulding, etc. Hope to get back in the garage sometime soon.

I'll post some up when I get home tonight. The builder grade carpet that was in there was complete junk. The pad used was completely wasted in high traffic areas. And...you'd think by now, someone would come up with a less deadly way to attach carpet than tack strips.

This will pick back up. The truck now lives outside again, the Miata and Jeep have switched spots. The Miata now lives closer to the tools, and the Jeep has tons of room to open the rear hatch (hatch would hit the garage door in the previous configuration). We're hoping to get some kind of low shed to store the lawn tools. Argh, I need a bigger garage.

Do you have room for a shed?
A shed will be one of my next big projects. Probably not for a couple of years though. I'm looking at building an 8x12. And fill it with car parts, lol, yes I have that many.

I wish my Miata could live indoors. But I'm not parking the Mustang outside just so my POS Miata can be inside, lol.

I figure the truck is a truck. The fact that it fit in the garage was a minor miracle. When I bought it, I didn't expect it to. The Miata primarily lives in there now as it's getting worked on, but most likely, for ease of the wifey's parking, it will probably continue to live in there even once it's done. A buddy and I have thought about buying a parcel and putting a pole barn or something on it for our car projects. Ha.
We have room for a small shed in our side yard. Probably a prefab rubbermaid plastic type shed. As long as I can get all the yard tools/lawnmower in it, I'll be happy.

We're actually having an HOA meeting in a week on small storage units, as there has been enough demand for them. As long as I can have something in the small side yard that has no possible use other than storage, I'll be happy. The neighbor and I have talked about building a single unit that is still divided/separate for individual use. If we don't do that, I'll still do something on my own, assuming HOA approval of course. That was the main reason I'd go with a prefab before...if the HOA demanded removal, it was easily sold. A custom unit, not so much, due to disassembly.
