Ahh, I see. How much did your Sparco Rev seat lower you (if at all)? At 6'2" I'm thinking it'll be just a bit tougher for me and I can use all the help I can get (i.e. lower seats, ect)!

Carpet arrived today. Now I'm itching to get it installed, along with the frame rails and finishing up mounting the seat (I haven't drilled the floor yet for the rear bolts. The position is currently where I want it. Really, I should wait for the roll bar to arrive to make sure I don't have to make any further modifications to the seat position in order to fit how I'd like.

In case you were curious, this is how much clearance you'll have with a HT and/or SoftTop with the Bossfrog Rollbar.

I don't know why it worked but here's another one. I also added one to the original.

Weekend plans:

Install roll bar
Install FM frame rails.
Finish drilling/mounting seat
Install carpet
Install SS clutch line
Potentially install new slave. Receipts claim the current one is new.

Fun stuff. I need to get the garage in order prior. Made more difficult by storing my bro-in-law's 911 this week. It'll be gone either Thurs or Fri, so I'll have room back.

Thanks Ron, for dropping off the slave cylinder and the lines. Awesome!

The rollbar is installed. Other than fiddling with getting the seat tower bolts aligned, the lower ones were trickier than the top, I had no issues. I had to grind the anchor on the seat belt reel anchors to get it to align in front of the roll bar feet. Even before getting the bolts in that anchor the rear feet, it felt solid. I havent driven the car yet. I havent installed the frame rails yet, so obviously the carpet isnt in either. I'll be back together by the end of this week.

That's good stuff buddy! How long did the roll bar end up taking you to install?

..... and of course: pics or it didn't happen. :D

I'll get some pics today. The install time for me will be skewed by the fact that my interior was already stripped. Thus, it was really the effort of jacking up the car, pulling the splash shield, and drilling the additional 10 holes thru the car. I didn't have nearly the headache some have had aligning the seatbelt tower bolts.

At this point, I haven't reassembled the interior trim pieces yet, I'm about 2 and a half hours into the install. I'm hopeful I can get in the garage today to finish up the trim portion of the install and maybe get the frame rails installed. I still need to go get some undercoat to seal the holes I've drilled.

Sounds like a plan... If you're not done installing everything by this Sunday (the 30th), let me know and I can probably stop by & lend a hand... Assuming I don't get held over again at work, like I did yesterday haha.
