Some new photos. Gauges are done, intake is 90% done and hood had been primered. I am trying to schedule a tune on Wednesday and the hood should be out of paint by then. If everything is all good I may try to make it to the Mazda Car Show.

Enjoy!!!

Hood should look good. Not obnoxious, but a subtle hint there is something under the hood.

Anxious to see the hood on the car. Almost like a normal Miata hood with a little extra height. Might not even be detectable to the non-Miata enthusiast. Nice man.

Back form the Dyno and this thing is one step closer to being road ready. They tries to email me the files but didn't go through and their printer was down. Am going to stop by tomorrow and see if I can grab the files to post up. Here are the numbers, peak HP was 351 and 400 ft-lbs off 5 lbs of boost. The numbers are a little deceiving because in the middle of the power band I picked up 75 ponies and 95 ft-lbs over my previous tunes. It is almost to much torque but pulls like a freight train ( I said almost to much). The car is definitely going to be a hand full but just need some seat time to dial it in. Here is a video off my phone .

After now seeing graphs the gains weren't as high as I though but still looks good in a side by side comparison over my previous runs. Here are the graphs and some pics of the hood all painted up.

LOL superchargers are so insane. You picked up over 200 ft-lbs of torque at 2250rpms. Now when you are going around corners you just give it half throttle and hang the tail out.

It's not a revver, but it has a ton of punch down low now. I'm sure it moves. Time to get back to the track before the season ends. Two more Wednesdays.

Yeah, that low rpm torque is going to make a crazy difference!

Here are some pics of the hood on the car and new brakes. ON the breaks on installed a goodwin racing rear large brake kit with a 10.75 inch slotted rotor and new wilwood front drilled & slotted front rotors onto my existing hats.

Yeah, the hood is subtle, but lets you know the stock Miata engine isn't under the hood. ;)

As always, I write a kick ### thread and the server errors out, WTF!!!. Here the quick version cause it is past my bed time. I finally got my coil overs from Fly'n Miata and got them installed. They are the NB Miata V-Max setup setup with a set of FM V8 springs in the front. The NB (97-05 Miata's) suspension is supposed to by quite a bit better that the first gen, like I have.

Also got some Hankook Ventus R-3S Tires.

I've heard great things about the RS-3s. Supposed to be one of the stickiest street tires you can get. I may look into them next summer when I'll need new tires on the Mustang.

i want your opinion on the v-maxx! i know they are basically re-sprung version of the 250$ raceland coilovers. and racelands are good for mostly stock cars and occasional trackdays. but as hard as you plan to drive and that you dont seem like the standard guy that seem to think just because FM put their name on it "it is gods gift to man and the best product available" that i typically run into on most the miata forums. it makes me think.

I thought about getting them i just felt almost dirty looking at them. so ive been looking at the tein monoflex or the fatcat's if they are really as good as fm claims I may end up ordering them
