I will let you know what I think once I get everything aligned. The guys at FM have tons of good things to say about them and run them on a few of their cars. FM says they tested them in basic form and were impressed but was lacking in a few area's. They approached the manufacture and worked out out a deal to build them to FM specs to increase the performance. I will let you know how they do in the Auto X this weekend.

So far I like my the suspension setup over what I had on there before. It seems to be better matched and evenly balanced.

Here's a vid it took yesterday messing around and burning through the rest of my old tires.

Looks like a blast! I can only dream of what it's like to drive that car.

Also, what kind of wheels are on your miata?

nice, i may have to get a ride. I really like my combo but there is alot of room for improvement. plus the ability to cornerweigh would be nice.

lear. we both have 949 6ul's they were actually originally designed for the miata.

Haha, I didn't even notice that they looked just like my Racelands. I miss being lowered. :\ Gotta stay at stock height so I can drive it in the snow though.

A video from the Auto X event put on by the local Porsche Club of America. Was a lot of fun. Had a sweet drift half way throught the video.

Ok that settles two things. One, I'm so getting a GoPro. Two, I am definitely racing more next year, and not at the drag strip. I bought this car because it was fast not only in a straight line but also around corners, yet I've only raced it one time for 20 minutes that wasn't in a straight line. I'm ashamed of myself.

I really like the lines on the course. Makes it easier to see where you're going instead of just the cones. That course looked fun as hell. Get some actual speed up instead of everything 30mph or less. That sweeper halfway through looked pretty cool too. Nice job on the long controlled drift at 2:10.

Thanks!!! The drift was my favorite part but wished I could have got another angle on it. I borrowed a friends GO Pro so I could get two seperate angles per run but he gave it to me with a full SD card. Auto X is fun and there are many clubs that put one on, not only the SCCA. It is really not that hard and shoudl maybe consider putting one on for CMZC. You open it up to anyone who wants to go, find a good lot and run it from 8-2 with a morning and afternoon runs. All we need is someone who has a ton of cones. I think with this club we could have a really good turn out. Maybe something to consider for 2012.

I am so excited that I was able to register my car down in El Paso county and never have to deal with emissions again. It was a lot easier than I was anticipating and now I can make some changes to the car.

The air pump- gone
EGR- gone
Cats-may be gone
E85 tune and large injectors- later in ther year
Increase the boost and retune- June

I would like to get another set of rims for my Miata so I can put some slicks on my current 6UL rims for track days and AutoX. I am thinking that I would like to go to 16" rims since it is now about the look and feel it does look better. I am not wanting to spend a lot and here is what I have found just looking on the web.

Rota RB Royal Hyper Black 16X8

I like the look and the fat lip.

Or

The XXR 522

This last picture doesn't look as good because of the stance of the car. I have seen it look good but am leaning more towards the first. I am open to other options but would like a 16X8 and there aren't many options.
