Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Who do I ask if I have questions?
A: Email tom.hunsinger”at”comcast”dot”net
Q: Who do I make my payment check out to?
A: Colorado Region, SCCA
Q: How do I know if I'm registered?
A: You will receive an e-mail verifying your registration. If 40 entries are
received before the cut-off date, additional entries will go on a waiting
list, in the order they were received.
Q: I just joined SCCA this week and don't have a membership card. How do
I prove I'm a member when I check in?
A: We can verify on site.
Q: I use race tires, should I bring race tires to the school?
A: Sure, but it's not necessary. If you do bring race tires, don't bring worn
out ones! You will go through a lot of rubber during the driving exercises.
Q: Do I need to put numbers on my car?
A: Car numbers and class letters are not required at the school.
Q: Can two drivers share one car?
A: Yes, but you will have to share seat time during the driving exercises.
Q: How much fuel will I need?
A: Have at least 1/2 to 3/4 tank WHEN YOU ARRIVE ON SITE. You will be
doing a lot of driving! Fuel is available nearby, but if you have to leave to get
some during the school, you will miss out on a lot of seat time!!!
Q: Will I need a helmet?
A: Yes. It is advisable that you have your own since you will be wearing almost all day. Rentals will be available for the usual $10/day and your driver's license held as deposit.
