the 2/20 event has been moved to PPIR, YEAH!!
It's not as convenient to CSprings as WA, but a much better lot- worth the 15 minute drive.

Mods, could you please update the thread title?

So I went to an autocross in Vegas before moving here and after everyone was done with their competition runs, they had "fun runs" for like $5 anyone who passed tech had a helmet and signed a waiver could run the course. Do they do that here? I'd love to try it out but not ready to sign up to compete yet.

We have fun runs intermittently, depending on when the event finishes- $2/run. They are only for registered drivers though- the registration fee covers insurance, lot fees, etc.

So I won't be making this. No cash for tires. My inside tread on the rear is bald.

I don't think I'll make it to this one. Have to spend the day Sunday putting stock springs and new shocks on my Miata so I hopefully don't die in the next snowstorm, heh.

I am offering to help you Saturday, if it will get you on the track Sunday. We can do the thrash at my place (I'll even bring the trailer if needed) where we will have the room and tools. Let me know if you want to give it a go. If the car is already driveable and you have the parts, the two of us could get it cranked out in a few hours. I'll offer to go South if that would help. I've got an appointment early Sat, but after that I'm free. I'll bet we could work it around the tech day at Lakewood Mazda and get some other volunteers.
