Autocross 2/20/11 at PPIR

I work all day Saturday or I would be doing it then. I'm sure now that I've done a suspension swap I can do all 4 corners in 3 hours or less. So I guess I could start on it Sunday afternoon after the event and I have Monday off to finish up if I have to and get it aligned. Hmm....

I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out which class I'd be in. Is there an A-Stock?

OMG that would be awesome! I just don't want to make the drive down there though because of gas and with the entry fee I'm looking at about $100 just to race. We will see what I have in May and I'll try to make that one. I'm sure we won't be open by then and I'll have a better idea of what money I have left to spend. I have to pinch every penny for these next few weeks till we get the restaurant running. I'm on the last of my funds.

Yea, I'm thinking I might sit this one out too as I'm saving my pennies for mods. Just spent money on tint and had to dip into the mod fund for the shocks for the Miata so I'm already behind schedule on what I need for the mods I want.

The crappy part is I won't be able to be in the stock class by the time the next one rolls around, heh. Most of my mods should be really easy to take off though if I do decide to autocross it later this summer.

Event's been moved to tomorrow due to "deteriorating weather conditions."

What do you mean tomorrow? as in Saturday ?! I've been watching the weather and it's going to be sunny except for a slight chance of rain. What deteriorating weather conditions? Heh

Apparently the weather is sketchy on Sunday... I have yet to find where either.

High of 49 in Fountain Sunday, which means early in the morning it's going to be in the 30s. No bueno for summer tire grip. And they have said there is a slight chance of rain/snow showers in the afternoon. Only like 20% chance though.

Yep.... Some people are citing hazardous driving conditions to get there but I haven't found anything from Castle Rock to the Springs, including Monument Hill.
