I'm not sure what the FSP is, but my brother had a scirocco. Fun car.
FSP is the class the car runs in.
If you liked you brother's car, come try a lighter, higher power, much stiffer suspended, higher grip version

Yes, being the Winter series, we don't start as early. Should have people racing about 10:30-11:00. You should be able to see most of the racing when you show up. Walk through "pits" (staging area) and talk with the drivers. Plan of going for some rides. No cost to watch and ride! You'll have a great time.
Go east on I-70 to Manila rd. (exit 299) Go north about a mile (on CR 28 n) to the stop sign (Colfax/hwy 36). Cross the intersection and the rail road track and then take the first right (100 yards north of 36). You'll meet a worker at the gate right there to sign the waiver.

Well I made it out to the event earlier than anticipated.
From an outsiders/absolute new persons perspective it was amazing. The variety of cars there really made the point that these events are more about the driving and fun than anything else. The drivers/people were all very friendly. The event flowed seemlessly and there were no issues with timing that I was aware of.
I was very impressed.
Just to throw some constructive criticism out there that you more active types may push forward, spectator parking could be marked. This would keep areas that drivers dropped their extra gear at away from others and prevent potential issues.
I'm planning to give one a go in the future.

What kind of issues did you have in mind?

Well, from the perspective of the competitors (which I really don't have), I would think it would be better to have a more secure area. I know as I rolled into the racing area that I cruised pass a dozen sets of wheels or so from some high end vehicles. There were tools open and visible. Things an unscrupulous person would take advantage of. It seems to me that the competitors/drivers could have had an exclusive area adjacent to the portojohns. This would make the area highly visible to the course marshalls and to the drivers and I think it would be a neater looking pit area. Us spectators could have been made to park along the road where the drivers had parked. It was a short walk, even to the main road.
In reality it is a non-issue as long as there is no issue with dirt bags. It seems someone would need to go well out of their way to get out there anyway.
I really liked how the cars were staged for the first heat and the second heat cars were nearby waiting to get staged for their turn.
It was a great event from my perspective. I was expecting a little bit more of a stand-offish crowd, but I met and spoke with a lot of folks and got into 3 different cars (Thanks to Ron, Eric, and a cool guy in a Prelude). Seems like I always like to give a bit of a "negative" to balance out my reviews. This really isn't a negative at all. Just something I thought of as I drove in and was looking for where to park.
Sorry to see my phone's predictive typing was memorialized (stupid phone(or user)), but I am going to revise the previous post anyway.
