I hope this works because i'm to lazy to upload to pb. A few from myself taken with le ipwn. And another set from Graham.
Start to the day:

Myself and Graham:

Staying out of the sun and taking a rest:

In this photo there are two things i wanted to show. One: i achieved the 30k miles-milestone on track! And two: the 80.0 miles was as far as i got on track with one FULL tank of gas. haha. The picture shows a half tank because i had to pull off track to fuel up which is why it's at half and not nearly empty with the light on. Take that hippies!!

End of the day and about to leave:

Graham's photos if you can see them:
http://www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?aid=145207&id=1176343368&ref=mfLet me know if you can't access any of them and i'll anti lazy myself.
Hope to see some of you out there next time.

Damn it Jimmy

Ok, i didn't think that some wouldn't have fbook. Not that one has to have a fbook, but i was hoping to use it as a quick host since they were already there. Give me a min and i'll upload mine to pb and post'em. I'll leave Graham's up to him.

I have FB but don't have permission to view Graham's photos. I want to get to a track day one of these years.

I haven't a clue. With NASA in my run group (HPDE) you can not time/have no way to do so. You can't get transponders and it's highly unsafe to be trying the old stopwatch method. I suppose you could have a spectator do timing via a stopwatch or something, but at this stage in the game i don't care for the lap times as much as i do getting all the corners right and getting overall better at tracking. Soon i will start clocking the laps.

Ah shitty. I'll let Graham know and see if he won't post them here for everyone.
You should absolutly come next time! It's really not all that hard on the car if you're not an idiot about it and try to "race" or show up other people/cars.

Here's some of my pics. It was my first time ever on a race course. It was righteous and amazing. This sounds nutty, but it was kind of a spiritual experience. Being in that zone, on the edge, that concentration and adrenaline is transcendent.
I was getting to 115-120 on the back straight. I "lost it" a few times and I early and late apexed more than I nailed it. My instructor was super cool and helpful. I passed an Evo 10, Vettes, Porsches and Subies. But I got passed just as often. It's all about carrying speed through the corner and taking the right line, setting up the corner and all that.
It was a great day,
Graham

Nice. I will have to try to save up some money and do this next year. Get some nice racing brake pads so I don't tear up my street pads and do it right.

I feel like I did a bunch of stuff, but I didn't change the pads/rotors. Tightened Rear Sway, changed the oil, changed the brake fluid with RBF 600, flushed the coolant, checked tire pressure and tread, checked lugs, gave it a good wash and got an inspection. Maybe it only seems like a lot because it was the first time I did some of that stuff.
