Your participation in this event would be greatly appreciated. Get those cars out and have a good time.

Here is a link to saul_good's facebook group to keep up with track events. I'll endeavor to tie this club up with as many events as possible to get people active when they can.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/675126509207232/

It will be my first time on a track. A pretty inexpensive way to get a feeler.

http://www.pueblomotorsportspark.net/

Participants thus far:
1.) Shadowden (Silver S2000)
2.) Saul_Good (Blue Steel Miata with black hardtop attitude)

Copy and add your name to the list so we can know who to expect to see there.

Go for it.

Is there any cost to just go and watch?

I'll ask. Some people have taken advantage of this, but I'll assure her (if she allows) that my group won't be 'one of them'.

Since its looking like the LAST part I need is still in QC up in good ol Can-eh-duh, yet another stock run around the track is in my future.

Would one of you more familiar with track days list some things that first timer should definitely bring with them?

Here is a short list I came up with based on conversation:
Drivers License and Insurance Card
Registration information (print from net) or method of payment (Is payment method limited)
DOT approved helmet (rentals available?)
Bright Gloves (was told for signaling?)
Water
sunscreen
food?

A positive, there to have fun and learn, attitude.

I don't think they require registration or insurance for track driving.

You will also need:
Laptimer to compare your times with your peers,
Trashtalk to get pumped before a session,
Excuses as to why a lower HP weanie MX-5 was faster than you (junk tires, wrong suspension setup for this track...)
Humility, cuz we are all gonna get beat by a crappy old civic hatch
Humor, cuz none of it matters and its all for fun.

And for you, bring lots of Vtek yo.

BTW I have helmet you can borrow if needed, also I believe gloves are optional.

This will be a VERY laid back day.

Bring:
- $75
- Chairs if you want to sit
- Food if you want to snack
- Helmet, I also have an extra one for you to borrow. Lemme know.
- Gloves optional but they help w/that racer feel
- Long legged jeans (at least), if you're a true racer bring a suit, but long legged jeans very minimum.

IIRC it's cars only so you are free to run and pit when you want.
