I don't believe this is true. Otherwise what's to stop you from making something up? Just one person calling won't do anything except get your name on a list. I know this because I have gotten letters saying people have called on me for cutting them off or speeding or whatever. The letter specifically states that I should be careful because eventually a cop will see me driving aggressively and pull me over. If all it took is one person calling for a cop to ticket someone and not actually see it happening, I'd have gotten about 6 tickets since I started commuting to Denver 4.5 years ago.

BTW, I've never passed anyone on the shoulder or median. Just when you drive to Denver every day and constantly run into people going 65 in the left lane, you tend to get frustrated and pass on the right a lot and people get pissed about it.

I feel ya, I see that every day here, I think the majority of left-lane-slow drivers forgot what the left lane is for... ugh! :cool:

Tell it to the guy that went to jail and paid big $$ fine because of me.

It all depends on the situation, as in any case. We got the guys plate, picture and he had a record of previous recklessness (like you :lol:

). He hadn't been ticketed, nor had he been convicted of anything prior to my reported incident. And, no cops witnessed the act.

Indeed. I hate seeing people go from an on-ramp across 2-3 lanes just to be in the left lane...but it happens daily.
